MCG Jazz has been the heartbeat of Pittsburgh’s jazz scene for nearly 40 years—preserving, presenting, and promoting this incredible art form. From our annual concert series to the Tell Your Story afterschool program and our extensive Archives, we provide a safe, inspiring space for artists, educators, music fans, and students to create and connect.

As our friend Dwayne Dolphin said, "What I personally admire about the center is it stands as a beacon of hope for the community. MCG is a perfect example of what can happen to people in the community if you dare to dream." 

 

We at MCG Jazz are all proud of how far we’ve come, and are uplifted by the lives we’ve touched through the power of music.

 

But we want to take this dream even further, and we cannot do it alone! That's where YOU come in.
