MCG JAZZ 36th ANNUAL JAZZ CONCERT SEASON

MCG Jazz is pleased to announce our 36th Annual Jazz Concert Series. Immerse yourself in performances that include perennial favorite Monty Alexander; NEA Jazz Masters Dianne Reeves, Eddie Palmieri, and Arturo Sandoval; 10-time GRAMMY® Award-winning Smooth jazz saxophonist, Mindi Abair’s “I Can’t Wait For Christmas” show; and a lineup of trending women artists such as super-group Artemis and up-and-coming vocalist Samara Joy, making her debut at MCG Jazz in April 2023. Experience World Music and Jazz with Danilo Pérez’s Global Messengers and the Django Festival All-Stars from France. There is a not to be missed, special two-day showcase of MCG Jazz recording artists performing selections from their most recent albums. The evening will conclude with a post-concert artist meet-and-greet and Jazz Club style reception.

 

Later this spring, MCG Jazz will announce collaborations with its community partners.

 

MCG Jazz has been named one of the best venues for Jazz music for over a decade by Downbeat Magazine and the brand-new renovations to the MCG Jazz Music Hall will make your experience even more engaging when you return in the fall. Marty Ashby, vice president and executive producer for MCG Jazz says about the 36th season, “With all the acoustic and aesthetic upgrades we were able to accomplish over the past 18-months, I am extremely excited to hear this diverse collection of world-class musicians in this pristine listening environment.”
